How soon can I get in?

I usually suggest booking your appointment 2-4 weeks out from when you want to get in. Sometimes it can take a little longer if you have a specific schedule or need a longer service. If you don't see a time that works for you, I recommend booking the soonest opening that works with your schedule and then signing up for the waitlist. Openings do happen but aren't guaranteed.

How much does it cost?

I try to keep my pricing as transparent as possible,  that's why I have my pricing listed on my service page. Please remember these are starting prices.  Things that can impact pricing are: thickness/length, amount of color needed, desired lightness etc...

A much more accurate estimate can be given at an in person consultation. If you have a strict budget that you need to adhere to there are always options that we can discuss to help keep you as close as possible.

What if I have to reschedule my appointment last minute?

I completely understand that schedules can change! If you need to reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so I can adjust my schedule and offer your spot to someone else.

​

If you reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, a fee of 20% of your service ticket as a late cancellation will apply. This small fee helps cover the time I’ve reserved just for you, especially if I’m unable to fill your spot on short notice.

​

What if I don't like my hair?

My goal is for you to absolutely love your hair! Every service begins with a consultation so we can be on the same page about your hair goals. Because of the time and professional products that go into each appointment, I do not offer refunds.

If you’re having trouble with your hair after your visit, please reach out to me within 7 days so we can schedule an adjustment appointment. I’ll do my best to shift or refine your look so it feels right for you.

If it feels like a bigger change is needed, we can also talk about what you’d like to adjust for your next appointment, so we can make a plan together.

​

Please note: once another stylist has worked on your hair, or if you’ve made changes yourself, any adjustment guarantee is void. To avoid confusion or disappointment, always contact me first so we can find the best solution together.

How do I know what to book?

I have provided detailed service descriptions on my service page. If these are not helpful please fill out the consultation form and I can recommend which services may be the best fit for you. I'll respond within 24hrs Monday - Friday.

My color is fading, what can I do?

If your color is fading away and you aren't ready to see it go? Here are a couple options:

1. Get a gloss to refresh what has been lost.

​

2. Use Sulfate free Shampoo, this has a gentler cleansing agent and will help protect new color molecules.

​

3. Love hot water? Unfortunately, it's  killing your color. Cool it down. Luke-warm is better.

​

4. Wash less frequently. Each time you wash your hair you strip more pigment out.

​

5. Use a heat protectant.  Heat breaks down dye molecules.

​

6. Get a shower filter. Hard water reeks havoc on color molecules and can cause hair to  become brittle and brassy. Malibu Treatments can help too!

Can I bring my kids?

I know it can be hard to find child care so you’re welcome to bring them with you to your appointment. Please use discretion when it comes to their behavior to ensure a safe and relaxing environment for everyone.

Breastfeeding infants are always welcome—we love babies! Just know they will get a lot of attention!

​

The salon is an active environment with chemicals, sharp tools, and hot tools in use, so this policy helps keep little ones safe while allowing me to give you my full attention.
